Hanuman Ji - Complete Story, Significance & Guide Lord Hanuman (also known as Bajrangbali, Mahavir, Pawan Putra, Anjani Putra, and Maruti) is one of the most beloved deities in Hinduism. Birth of Hanuman Hanuman was born to Anjana (an apsara who had been cursed to become a monkey) and Kesari (a monkey king).
